Andy Pino, Communications Officer and Board Liaison

Andy Pino joined the Foundation in July 2011. Over the last decade he has led a variety of communications and marketing efforts in higher education.  Most recently, he served as director of marketing and communications for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, leading efforts to promote the fund’s scholarship and education programs. Prior to that, he served as Georgetown University’s director of media relations and a primary spokesperson managing the university’s relations with the news media. He has also held positions with Population Services International and the U.S. Committee for Refugees in Washington, D.C.

Andy received his bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a master’s in Communications, Culture and Technology from Georgetown’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
